Türkiye strives to further deepen the already-developed economic and commercial relations with Lebanon.

Turkish products, with their high quality and competitive prices compared to their counterparts, are well received in the Lebanese market.

Moreover, the geographical proximity between our two countries is one of the most important factors contributing to the development of bilateral trade.

The total value of goods exported from Türkiye to Lebanon in 2025 amounted to 1.17 billion U.S. Dollars, while imports in the same year from Lebanon to Türkiye reached 132 million USD. As of 2025, Türkiye is Lebanon’s both seventh largest source of imports, with a share of 5.55 percent, and also is the seventh largest destination of its exports with a share of 3.63 percent.

After Türkiye and Lebanon mutually lifted in 2010 visa requirements for the citizens of each of the two countries in entering the other, the number of visitors from Lebanon to Türkiye significantly increased. This contributed to the increase in people-to-people interaction, especially in tourism, and strengthened the social, historical, cultural, and economic ties between our two brotherly peoples.

Between various airports in Türkiye and the Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport, 107 flights per week are operated over the summer, and 84 flights during the rest of the year. Although most of the flights are conducted by the airline companies registered in Türkiye, Middle East Airlines, the flag carrier of the Lebanese Republic, also operates 18 flights per week between Türkiye and the said Airport, all of which through the Istanbul International Airport.
